Fall in Colorado is one of my favorite seasons. The abundance of colors never ceases to amaze me. This shot is of South Boulder Creek near Rollinsville, CO off Hwy 72 as you enter into Coal Creek Canyon.

Aspens are the epitome of Colorado and truly add the colors of fall to the spectacular landscape. Photo taken on the Peak to Peak Hwy (72) a national scenic byway, near Ward, CO.

Steamboat is another favorite spot of mine to shoot and Fish Creek falls never fails. A National Forest area, the falls are spectacular in spring with early runoff as well as in the fall with the vibrant orange's and golds of the aspens.

Rocky Mountain National Park - Old Fall river Road. This was taken in January 2014 after the big floods of Sept. 2013 which completely wiped out this area below the Fall river road in the Alluvial Fan. I really like this shot as you look up the road and capture the intimate beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park in winter.

There is a small stream that runs near the visitor center of Custer State Park in South Dakota. We had stopped there for a visit and I really love the tranquility of the water.

Rocky Mountain National Park provides a great location to snowshoe in the winter.
